Hey, Mia!

I got to see Mia Rose in person (on screen, rather) tonight! She's such a cutie. Her little fingers are constantly moving! She could be an excellent candidate for baby sign language. =)

New Friend

I made a new friend today on Skype. She's from Italy and her name is Erika. She's sweet. Maybe someday she'll visit the States and I can show her around the BEST state of them all: OREGON (and an even nicer tour of the BEST CITY of all: Portland). =)

I subbed a half day today. During that time, I got three FULL DAY requests from other teachers. I might miss subbing someday when I have a real job...maybe not.

It's time to take a nap (so tired) and then do laundry (and perhaps read more about Princess Alyss Heart of Wonderland). I'm a third of the way through the book and I am engrossed...I hope life is great over there...and Gail, please feel better soon!

Not for Macs? =(

I was *psyched* to hear that I could create a special ring on T & L's computer when I called them with Skype. It could be the manamana song. It could be me saying, "Yo friends in France, it's me! Pick up the phone!" It's supposed to be easy to do...assuming you have a PC. What is this against Macs? I LOVE MY MAC. Why can't we all just get along?

Notta Waste, Notta Clean

Just to let you all know, I did NOT waste my day. =) Although I did NOT clean, either.

I got to talk to L & T for 1.5 hours! WOOHOO! We have successfully had our first Skype conversation and I'm thrilled!!!

Skype Un-Private

Hey, L & T, (or anyone else familiar with Skype) I downloaded Skype last night and since then someone has tried to IM me and someone else tried to call! Is there anyway to make Skype a little more private? I'd rather it be like MSN or AOL, where only the people I want to talk to can IM me. Or if they find me, they have to IM me a permission thing for me to accept...I don't want to look invisible otherwise you two might not call! AHH! Let me know what you find out. And I'm happy you downloaded it now that you're HALFWAY through your trip. ;) Seeing how I did mention it as one of my first comments to you on your site, oui?
